this term

This term I enjoyed Roller Hockey because it was fun and it was a good experience.It's not every day you get to play roller hockey.

Marshmallows and toothpicks

What I have enjoyed so far this term is doing the marshmallow and toothpicks competition. I liked it because it was challenging.

It was a shame we couldn't eat them.

Production

 Over the last few weeks we have been practicing for our production.My friend Jade is in this photo ,acting as buttons.

At school what I have enjoyed lately is practising the production.'

At the moment in Kowhai we are writing narratives about shipwrecks.So far we have written the orientation and the complication.

Reflection

The subject that I have enjoyed this term is writing because I got to learn how to write new poems.A subject that I didn't enjoy is handwriting because I think it is getting a bit boring.

cross country

In cross country I came fourth. That means that I got into the inter-schools. I am really exited about it.I am in Waingawa.

Wellington Zoo was great!!! My three favourite animals were the gibbons,kangaroos and the pelican.I learnt that the oldest tuatara in the world is 120 years old and is still living!

 

Prehistoric bees were carnivores.

This is a clip about anzac day.Anzac means Australia and New Zealand army core.My great great grandad fighted in the war.That means that he is my nan's dad.I don't know much about him though.

The other day my class (Kowhai) went to the cooking school at UCOL to learn about healthy food. There was  a chef called Damien who cooked amazing food. He made a mouthwatering dish of chicken breast and rice.
